Area and Region Leadership.

Step up your game

This is where strategy meets service. Big time. Our area and region leadership teams help drive real results across multiple restaurants. And because we’re opening more all the time, your responsibility, your impact and your career have nowhere to go, but up.

It’s not about sitting in meetings. It’s about stepping up and getting out there. Coaching teams, recognising potential, growing talent, celebrating wins, and making decisions that matter to hundreds of people.

At KFC, culture is everything. You’re on the frontline building it.

Our Roles

People Capability Coach

As a People Capability Coach, you'll be the go-to partner for Area Coaches and RGMs. You’ll drive people strategy, coach leaders, and help teams grow across your region. It's a hands-on role that blends HR know-how with real-world training, all focused on unlocking potential and making KFC a great place to work.

This is a role for people with real people experience. Think retail, hospitality, and fast-moving multi-site environments. It’s about having a coach mindset that grows real ones rather than just managing them. It’s about having the skills to stay calm when things break. It’s about genuinely caring about doing right by people and the business.

You’ll know that life in a business like KFC can be messy and unpredictable - but you’ll also know how important it is to make progress even when it's not perfect.

Area Coach

As an Area Coach, you'll lead a group of restaurants to deliver standout results across People, Customer, Sales, and Profit. You’ll coach, challenge, and grow your GMs. You’ll mix strategic thinking with hands-on leadership. And you’ll build high-performing teams of real ones by setting a culture that’s worth following.

Commercial edge is vital. An understanding of the business side of hospitality is important. And you’ll know how to drive results across teams, while growing in your own role, too. Because it’s more than just getting things done day to day. Our Area Coaches show the big picture thinking that connects head office to the kitchen floor, and they have the kind of ambition it takes to climb higher into senior leadership.

The bottom line is that it’s about leading with heart. You care about people as much as numbers, as you bring real authenticity and humanity to the role.

Regional Coach

As a Regional Coach, you'll take a number of restaurants under your wing, leading a team of Area Coaches. You’ll deliver transformational leadership and high-impact coaching to support your region in achieving growth across four key metrics – People, Guest, Sales & Profit. In real terms, you'll drive all kinds of amazing initiatives with an operational focus and a people mindset.

Our Regional Coaches have either rolled up their sleeves and progressed through KFC, or they’ve switched from successful careers in retail, banking, manufacturing and hospitality.

In this role, you’ll experience the same kind of career story: a commitment to building a broad knowledge across business functions, together with rapid career progression. It’s about being solution-driven, inquisitive, tenacious and determined - you’re a natural born real one, and you’re ready to lead from the front.

Above Restaurant capabilities

At KFC, we use what we like to call a Capability Framework, to define what real leadership looks and feels like in our restaurants. They’re what we look for in our managers, and what our people aim to achieve in their career development and progression. Want to know what they are? We’ve got you.

  • Unleash potential

Our leaders don’t let any opportunity for growth pass them by. Feedback, learning courses, you name it - they grab it by the bucket. And when it comes to their team, they know every person’s ambition and feed their potential to grow. Whether it’s through building connections or direct support, our leaders put their everything into growing the team.

  • Deliver through others

Success tastes better when it’s shared. And our leaders train their teams across skillsets so that they can fly high and deliver, together. From one-on-one coaching to celebrating achievements, they know the value of fostering great team culture, and make decisions that always put the wellbeing of the team first.

  • Fuel exceptional restaurant experiences

Whether it’s using feedback and customer insights to improve services, or empowering their team to handle challenges independently with support when they need it - our managers care about creating unmatched restaurant experiences. They lead by example across service, speed, hospitality, and standards - knowing when to adapt to meet the needs of customers and their team.

  • Execute with focus

Nothing gets in the way of our leaders delivering smooth operations. They move fast and stay calm - spending time on solutions that have the biggest impact, and removing any hurdles that might be keeping their team from being their best.

  • Adopt an owner mindset

Our leaders run our restaurants like their own. From crunching numbers to making decisions that balance short-term and long-term wins, they’re passionate about restaurant success. And by setting SMART team goals with clear communication on business impact, they inspire their teams to succeed, together.

  • Shape the future

Our leaders are in this for the long game. Whether it’s thinking about how to make tomorrow better, or how to achieve long-term objectives, they identify challenges, opportunities, and chances to innovate. They navigate change with positivity, keeping things straight with their teams and supporting them through the journey.

Our Recruitment Process

We want our candidates to experience the same kind of love that we show our customers. Which means your recruitment journey should feel as real as stepping into one of our restaurants.
